The following provisions govern access to Yankee Candle and orders for candles, fragrance products, and related accessories.
Fragrance product listings
Yankee Candle works to keep descriptions, images, measurements, features, and availability useful for jar and tumbler candles, refills, diffusers, car fragrance, holders, and candle tools. Screen settings may affect color, packaging can change, and obvious errors may be corrected. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Transaction confirmation
The customer authorizes the selected provider to request the displayed USD amount and confirms authority to use the payment method. The Payment Policy lists supported card networks and explains issuer verification. This is the current terms practice published by Yankee Candle.
Using this website
A customer must be legally capable of entering a purchase agreement and must submit current, complete, and accurate information. Yankee Candle expects account credentials to be kept secure, and the account holder is responsible for activity conducted through the account.
Reasonable allocation of risk
Where legally permitted, Yankee Candle provides the site on an available basis and excludes indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability or customer remedies that applicable law does not allow the store to exclude.
Third-party tools and content
Yankee Candle operates through Shopify and may use or link to independent services. Those providers control their own terms, privacy practices, performance, and content. A link does not automatically mean endorsement.
Future revisions
Yankee Candle may post prospective revisions to these terms. Applicable law at the merchant address governs while preserving non-waivable rights available in a customer’s jurisdiction. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues.
Restrictions on site use
Yankee Candle prohibits unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, rights-infringing, security-disrupting, or malicious activity. Automated extraction without authorization, harmful code, interference with checkout, and misuse of another person’s identity are not permitted.
Dispatch and return process
Yankee Candle ships only within the United States. Standard shipping is free without a minimum, processing normally takes 1–2 business days, and transit normally takes 4–6 business days. A pre-dispatch cancellation may be requested; eligible returns and exchanges are available within 30 days after delivery.
Use of text, graphics, and media
Text, graphics, layout, code, and original media on Yankee Candle are protected by law or used with permission. Personal, non-commercial browsing is allowed, but unauthorized reproduction, resale, republication, or exploitation of site content is not.
Pricing for an online purchase
Yankee Candle displays and charges prices in USD. Taxes are collected when applicable law requires and appear through checkout. Placing an order is an offer to buy; acceptance occurs when Yankee Candle sends an acceptance or dispatch confirmation.
Yankee Candle may reject or cancel an order for a stock problem, payment failure, suspected fraud, pricing error, legal limitation, or undeliverable address. Captured funds for a cancelled order are returned to the original method.
